I’m a freelance artist who works mostly in mixed media. While I’ve received no formal training, I’ve always lived a creative life and think art should be a fun way for us to express ourselves.  Dividing my time between Nashville, NC and Emerald Isle, NC, I often spend my days "making a mess" in my studio... painting, journaling, writing, and listening to my favorite music.  I work in a variety of mediums, tend to use bright colors in my artwork and you'll find a little piece of me in everything I create.  ​Because I love teaching and sharing ideas and techniques with other creatives, I host several Open Studio nights and workshops in my studio each year.
