She’s always been a little envious of those who had a passion or skill at a young age and found their niche. Whether it be gymnastics, horseback riding, dance... to name a few. Those who had a specific talent and were well known for it. She dabbled in all these things, things she really enjoyed, but she moved around a lot growing up and was never afforded the luxury of planting roots or sticking with something day in and day out. Homing in on her skills. She spent much of her life starting over in a new house, a new town, and making new friends. So, she dabbled. She created. She was “pretty good” at a lot of things. Art. Poetry. Dance. She daydreamed of security and a life firmly planted in one place. She was a voracious reader. She lived vicariously through the characters she loved in books. She loves music. Lyrics. She loves movies. Storytelling. Learning new things. Photography. Watching people. Capturing moments. And sometimes… she writes…
