When I was a child, I could never get the word "dilapidated" out of my mouth. My eight-year-old solution? Wing it! So, the term "jalopydated" was born and, to this day, is used regularly in my family. Which is hysterical to me as an adult because the definition of jalopy is: an old car in a dilapidated condition.
